Shot entirely in black-and-white and set to an eardrum-shattering industrial punk/noise soundtrack, Electric Dragon 80 000V is an almost indescribable 55-minute descent into electro-charged punk madness.
Japanese teenage idols Asano and Nagase play high voltage superheroes out to destroy each other in the most spectacular ways imaginable. In between fighting, they recharge themselves using electric chairs, electric beds, sockets and entire power stations. Oozing with comic book aesthetics in its high speed editing, this might be the most punky kinetic anarchy ever seen on screen.
