El Patio

Sisters Martina and Sofi a are cutting classes, spending most of
the day in front of the TV instead. They are indifferent to most of
what’s going on around them, and their uneventful existence is
only irrupted by an obstinately ringing phone. Martina is waiting
impatiently for the mother to call, while Sofi a is devoting herself
to daydreaming about the boy next door instead. Gradually, a
psychological drama developes between the two sisters.
El Patio is a low-key description of two girls on their way into
adulthood.
