7–18 november 2012

Eden is about Samantha and Dov, two American Zionists, who during the 40's emigrate to Palestine in order to help out in building up the new country. Joining them on their journey is Samantha's capitalist brother, but with completely different intentions - he wants to buy a cheap piece of Arabian land.
Amos Gitai, director of the award-winning Kadosh and the highly acclaimed Kippur, is back with this close-up on loneliness, the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the raging war in Europe. Eden is based on Arthur Miller's novel Homely Girl.
