Doll Master

A woman with long black hair coverirlg her face might by now be a symbol as widely recognized as Don Corleone's underbite. At least among fans of Asian horror. This time though, the woman in question isn't one of flesh and blood, and she's not alone either. We are entering the realm of wicked dolls and however pretty they may be, handling them isn't child's play.
Five strangers are gathered in a doll museum in the far off mountains, completely isolated as their cell phones refuse to work. Sculptor Hae-mi, male model Tae-seong, a strange woman named Yeong-ha - with an unhealthy attachment to a doll she brought - a photogra-
pher and a high school student have all come here to have dolls made with themselves as models. But something isn't quite right with the doll maker, a scary woman to say the least. The group doesn't seem to notice this and before they lmow it they start to die, one after the other.
Why does someone want them all dead and who is the young girl in the red dress claiming to know Hae-mi, even though the sculptor has no recollection of her?
This South Korean horror film shows that Japan does not have the monopoly on scaring us senseless.
