We've all seen them on film, those scary creatures of the night: zombies, the living dead. Un-dead rotting carcasses wandering about with their arms stretched out in search of flesh, smelly cannibals with hideous bodies and staring eyes.
In a low-key mood and using rather the exclusion than the emphasis of brutal killings, Andrew Parkinson takes the myth of zombies from the graveyard to the modern city suburb, pondering over the zombie syndrome amongst a couple of girls and their lives in fear of a zombie hunter. No sign of dirty, falling-apart clothes as these babes look like (and are) the girls next door. No way of knowing who's who and what's next. But, no zombie film without a zombie gun.
