Dead At 21

Dead at 21 is the name of an MTV serial. A soapopera for those of you who have outgrown ''Dallas'' but have yet to discover classical opera. The main characters are the Harley Davidson-loving Ed and his girlfriend Maria. Ed lead a normal life until he was twenty years old, was popular and known as a decent high-school student before he makes the horrific discovery that his whole life is a lie. He finds out that he is the victim of a biological experiment, sponsored by the government.

We get to know that they have planted a microchip in Ed's brain, which only function is to give him an unbeatable intelligence. However this is not enough - the microchip is also a time-bomb which creates bizarre and harrowing dreams which are supposed to convince him to self-destruct on his 21st birthday. Ed's only chance to stop the bomb from detonating is by finding the doctor who performed the experiment through the clues which are planted in the dreams. Ed's fight for his life becomes a fight against time which is not made easier by him and Maria being accused of murder and forced to run away from the police. . .
