Dad´s Dead

Ian Hart (Backbeat, Land and freedom) is the narrator in the short, in which a man is looking back upon his youth in Liverpool, and his admiration and love for the friend Johnno. But through his memories, he is also forced to confront the darker sides of his friend.
By combining live action with digital animations, Chris Shephard has visualized the remembrance of a human mind. Dad’s Dead raises questions about subjectivity – what our minds choose and choose not to remember.
