Covert

Covert, though pocket-sized, has all the important components of a true British spy movie; the latest hi-tech surveillance equipment, the coded phone conversation and the spy in a suit. The theme of watching is ever present, the angles often resemble that of a surveillance camera observing from above. Covert is thrilling, but also quick-witted with the indispensable twist in the end. The moody use of colours, mostly red and blue, is similar to that of the Wachowski Brothers. You might guess that comics have been a mutual source of inspiration. SOFIA BULL
