Corpse Bride

A man, after butchering his lines at his wedding rehearsal, is sent into the woods to practice his vows. He performs his vows perfectly and place the wedding ring on what he thinks is a twig on the ground. It turns out the twig was really the hand of the Corpse Bride, who now claims she is his legal wife. Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride is a marvel of visual effects, and a really macabre animated film, where almost any single frame would be worthy of freezing and putting up on a wall. A Corpse bride also states Burton’s return to the puppet film arena after critically acclaimed A Nightmare before Christmas from 1993. Though more disjointed and less distinctive than '' Nightmare'' this musical about a young bridegroom (voiced by Johnny Deep) who mistakenly weds a girl from beyond the grave manages to be a good-natured film despite its morbid theme. Music by Danny Elfman and perfectly in sync voicing by the actors involved helps to bring additional soul and artistic range to this visual work of art. Corpse Bride manages to be a relentlessly high spirited and original film attracting and rewarding also the older viewer.MATEO OLIVA
