Clara

Clara is a twelve-year-old girl whose life has just changed forever. In Van Sowerwine’s touching stop motion animation, winner of the Short Film Special Mention at this year’s Cannes International Film Festival. We see Clara trying to deal with a painful loss and make sense of her new reality. The film is set in Melbourne and the sets are realistic copies of existing places in Sowerwine’s own neighbourhood.KRISTIN DJERF
