Cindy, the Doll is Mine

Where does the subject end and the object begin? Asia Argento takes on famed photographer Cindy Sherman, known for using herself as the object in her photography. Argento plays the chameleon photographer as she poses for one of her own stills wearing a blond wig, a pink dress and cradling a porcelain doll. Cindy, the Doll is Mine is directed by Bertrand Bonello whose earlier films Le Pornographe and Tiresia has been screened at the Stockholm International Film Festival. This is a collaboration between two of the most distinct and interesting figures in independent cinema. MATTIAS VESTIN
