Buljong

Year 3065. A polar expedition discovers an aluminium case containing black and white photographs from the twentieth century. Scientists are amazed at our eccentricities. We go back in time in a long flashback and meet the photographer and his tragi-comic life through his pictures, which create an absurd collage of its time. The film's frame story is a planned novel by an authoress aiming to portray our decade. The story is told using a wide spectrum of people and characters, all of them pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, in this surrealistic film about problems of twentieth century culture.
