Bangkok Dangerous

Kong has been deaf and dumb since childhood. As a professional assassin he seems to act with neither feelings nor consciousness. The only person in the world who is able to distract Kong from the life of crime is a girl from the local drugstore. But when Kong's friend and companion is brutally murdered he becomes obsessed with the thought of revenge.

Bangkok Dangerous is a fast-paced and visually innovative action film where the almost absent dialogue combined with unorthodox editing and colouring pushes the film forward. By the use of slow motion, stop motion, jump cuts and a variety of film stocks, the Pang brothers have created an experimental gangster movie, set in the underworld of Bangkok.
