Angel Negro

On her graduation day in 1990 a schoolgirl, Angel, tragically disappears under mysterious circumstances. Ten years later one of her classmates, Gabriel, has become an educated forensic pathologist. One day he finds himself about to perform an autopsy on the body of one of his old schoolmates, and when this death is followed by others Gabriel starts to suspect a connection to Angels' disappearance ten years earlier.

Young Olguíns thrilling feature debut is a low budget production shot in only 20 days, and the first horror film ever made in the former dictatorship of Chile. Not unlike its North American predecessors in the genre, but taking place in Santiago. Angel Negro has become a great success in the native country.
