7–18 november 2012

A romantic dinner in a fancy restaurant, followed by a marriage proposal on the future bride's native tongue - it is the perfect night. Suddenly an argument breaks out, about the pronounciation, and what has really been said in the vile Japanese that the suitor learned. This leads to an increasingly aggressive discussion that ends in tragedy.
Filmmaker Maka Sidibe himself stars in this well-performed, humorous short film about language barriers and suppressed frustrations that surface when you least expect it. This film may make its viewers think twice before they decide to enter into holy matrinomy.
