Her name is Rachel and she is ready to give up. She is a regular but slightly uncertain girl of 17, full of defiance and despair. She carries around loads of uncontrolled rage and hates the environment she grew up in. She can't stand the thought of men touching her and spends most of her time searching for drugs.
One day, on a visit to the East Montreal Women's Prison, she meets a newly released inmate named Jeanne. In contrast to the introverted Rachel, Jeanne is a very expressive person and inspires Rachel to start her life over. Through modern dancing, Rachel finds a way
to deal with her destructive emotions and Jeanne becomes her friend and teacher. Even Rachel's unemployed single mother, Odile, finds a new reason to live through her daughter's dancing.
This is an intimate love story told from a female perspective. Director Carole Laure draws parallels between the narrative and the dance elements, thus pointing out that dance and life come out of each other. CQ2 (Seek You Too) became an audience favourite at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
