Stockholm Film Festival

Malik is a young man from a Stockholm suburb. He has no homeland, family or sense of belonging. He lives in a world where violence and crime are a way of earning a living, as well as getting respect...
When Malik meets Carmen, he comes in contact with a world hitherto unknown to him. She is young, intelligent, and beautiful, and has ambitions of getting an education and a good job, and has no intention of living on his terms. So it's up to Malik to choose - Carmen, or a life of crime and violent self-destruction.
