KNÄCKA is a strong and melancholic film about the freedom you get and the future you can create after graduating from high school. But it is also about the dark parts that can cloud a new beginning, such as sickness happening to a loved one. For Goran, a rather confused 19 year old who had just finished school, this is exactely what happens. Going from one minute being focused on friends, parties and new crushes, he comes to finding himself at the hospital with his mother who had just had a heart attack, trying to cope with this major trauma for both of them. But his desperate attempts to handle the situation accordingly just seem to get him in fist fights with some guys you really shouldn't be messing with.
