When the days in school gets to troublesome and your family at home gets on your last nerve, it may be a good idea to rebel. And that's exactly what Esther Blueburger does in this charming and hilarious movie about the pressure to fit in while you're growing up. Esther is the bullied kid at her elitist all girl school and her mum won't stop nagging about Esther's coming up bar mitzvah. Finally she's had enough, and when she meets the cool, laid back girl Sunni from the communion school in the neighbourhood the two of them sets up a brilliant plan. With the help of Sunnis old school uniform, Esther is, in the disguise of a new exchange student from Sweden, going to switch to the communion school as well. All in the obliviousness of her mom of course.
