Stockholm Film Festival Junior 2012
The 13th edition of Stockholm Int. Film Festival Junior is being held during 7th-12th of may 2012 and we welcome all young film lovers to come and see our movies.
Stockholm International Film Festival Junior is an international film festival aimed at kids between 6-16 years. During six days in April everyone is welcome to our screenings of new great film from all over the world.
Each film comes with a teacher's guide including topics for discussion. The screenings take place during the day and are open to the public.
An exiting part of Junior is the national short film competiton 1 Minute Film. The winners get to make film with professional film team. In 2010 about 300 films were submitte by kids from all over Sweden.
Have you ever dreamed of making your own film? Are you between 6-16 years old? Then the Film Workshop is for you! Every year at the winterholiday (Sportlovet) we open our Film Workshops where you can make your film together with friends under the tutelage of an experienced film professional.
The Remix was launched during Junior 2007. Our film teachers tour schools helping pupils to make their own films from script to editing. Give your students a whole day with just film!
The Junior Group, Junior's own jury consisting of kids and youth, appoint the winner who receives the 5 kilo Bronze Horse.
