Through the eyes of a womanwanting more, we meet victims of personaland professional structures. Questions of guilt,death and loneliness are all perfectly weighed into the stoic Yella – named after the youngmother in the Wim Wender’s 70’s feature “Alicein the Cities”. Nina Hoss, the actress playingYella, was awarded for the role at the BerlinFilm Festival in 2007.
