7–18 november 2012

The young astronauts Peter and Anna crash-land their spaceship on a strange planet. The lord of this world, an evil emperor, deprives the two of their freedom and prevents them from leaving.
With its black-and-white cinematography and old-school sets, The stars don’t twinkle in outer space is a tribute to the innocent science fiction films of the 1950’s. But as the ending comes, we’re presented with a surprising twist that sheds new light on all preceding scenes, making the film a metaphor for something much more disrupting.
