7–18 november 2012

Big budget period piece starring our Lifetime Achievement Award-winner Charlotte Rampling. The duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana Spencer, was an it-girl of the eighteenth century. She lived an extravagant political and private life, and was always the center of aristocratic attention. But the duchess was trapped in a loveless marriage. In the end, she had to pay the price for challenging the codes of social conduct.
