The first scene in Girlin’s and Bassovskaja’s short compares the capitalist system to the human digestive system: if you keep feeding people with false promises and commercials, shit is bound to come out.
The creative mixture of clay animation and magazine cut-outs creates an unpleasant image of a capitalist dystopia, where 1984-inspired TV-screens shout out their never ending clichés and misery is hidden behind smiling lips covered in the lipstick color of the season.
