The first feature film from director MathiasGokalp is a well-timed snapshot of corporatemisdemeanours in a moment marked byeconomic crisis and recession.
Following successful corporate satiressuch as THE OFFICE , THE ORDINARY PEO PLEtakes place during a chic corporate event withthe purpose of building team confidence andnegotiating skills. At the cocktail party, theemployees are drawn into a role-playing gamethat soon evolves into a very real test of survivaltactics when they start to suspect that their jobsmight be at stake in the game.
Gokalp uses pitch-black humor and an effectiverepetitive style to depict big-business brutality. The story unfolds through distinct sections, usingchapters - with headings “The Newcomer”,“Married Life” and “All Together” - as theawkward survival games crystallise in front ofthe increasingly desperate employees.
