7–18 november 2012

A gathering of pampered guests participates in a luxurious banquet, serviced by hordes of waiters. A group of musicians embellish with solemn violin music. Suddenly, the building starts to crack, and they all crash down on the floor below. As they wipe the dust off their clothes, the women and men start to proceed with almost ritualistic gormandizing.
Denis Villenueve’s short film is filled to the brim with black humour, and a not so subtle critique against our society of mass consumption.
