»Meniscus« turns the silver screen into a great canvas of haunting mannerist tableaux. Naked bodies crammed together in a vast nothingness, half dancing, half squirming in agony. The film is a great demonstration for how the new digital media can open unexplored ways to the heart. Life turns into death, sadness into hope. This is a high defined dream about existence, both eerie and beautiful.
