Mei Ling

MEI LING is the story of a young Chinese womanwho has isolated herself in her apartment,waiting for her lover to return. One day she finds asmall octopus in her kitchen. Initially intending toserve it to her lover, she decides to spare its life.The octopus soon adapts to its new surroundings,taking up more and more space in the apartmentand in the young woman’s life.

Directors Lansaque and Leroy have created adamp and wavering universe built on a blend ofclassic animation, 3D-graphics and real footage.
