Peter is a dorky teenage boy attending school in the 1970’s, and like most such boys, he has a crush on the coolest girl in class. But when he goes to the local record shop to buy the new Buzzcocks single, “Love You More”, Georgia comes in, searching for the same piece of vinyl. Impressed that Peter knows his stuff, she invites him to her house. There, much to Peter’s delight, his classmate proves to be all about teenage kicks.
Multi-artist Sam Taylor-Wood has created a spot-on adolescence flick, framed by Buzzcocks-music, and with a cameo appearance from lead singer Peter Shelley.
