7–18 november 2012

When an unpleasant boil spews forth a strange being, things take a turn for the worse for gloomy factory-worker, Alex. The birth rekindles the spark with a former lover, the sadistic Agnes, and together the couple has to give up everything to keep the wretched creature alive.
Swedish director Johan Lundh has created a somber, dystopian vision in the vein of genre classics 1984 and Thx 1138. The spirit of David Lynch is ever present, and the kinship to Lynch’s Eraserhead cannot be denied; both movies explore the subconscious dreads and agonies of a father-to-be.
