Kabuli Kid

Kabuli Kid

by Barmak Akbar

Afghanistan’s capital Kabul is struggling to recover from 25 years of war and social unrest. “Kabuli Kid” is a dramatic, chaotic and comical journey through the city, as cab driver Khaled discovers that a customer has left a very unusual package in his car. To coincide with the screenings of “Kabuli Kid”, we are showing the exhibition “The cinema in Kabul” by Swedish photographer Martin von Krogh in the lobby of our theater.
