7–18 november 2012

It’s 1987, and ten-year-old Edward is hanging out at a retirement home managed by his parents. Using a tape recorder, he captures the very last moments of the elderly residents. Without mum and dad’s knowledge of course, since they’re too busy with midlife crisis to notice Edwards increasing obsession with ghosts and the afterlife.
Then Edward meets the home’s new resident: hotheaded and retired magician Clarence, exquisitely played by acclaimed veteran Michael Caine. The unlikely duo finds comfort in each other in this sad, yet warm and humoristic, story about society’s forgotten people.
