This is the dark tale of Hanna, a girl who disappears into her own mind. It’s a suggestive fusion of still photography, fashion and fiction, dressed in the music of, among others, Swedish musician El Perro Del Mar.
Photographed in the south of Sweden, where the director himself grew up, Emil Klang has created a conspicuous cinematic experiment through the use of models instead of actors. Klang lets the work of eight contemporary Swedish designers, like Helena Hörstedt and Sandra Backlund, play an essential part of Hanna’s story.
