Directions deals with a strange man and a broken shopping cart, whose awkward friendship is built on mutual healing. It all starts at the supermarket, but it soon evolves into a road trip of grand proportions. Our lone hero is a modern civilized man who awakens, goes back to his roots and creates his own challenges. With brand new eyes he rediscovers the city, nature and himself. Kasimir Burgess has created a short film that has elements of a tragedy, while at the same time projecting dark humor and a message of hope.
