Daytime Drinking

Daytime Drinking

by Young-Seok Noh

Lost, alone and terribly hung over. And on top of that: a broken heart. Life isn’t easy for young Hyuk-Jin, who is left on his own in a town he doesn’t know. What was supposed to be an encouraging consolation holiday with his friends soon turns into a never-ending chain of weird, booze-soaked events. Like waking up with no pants on, or getting drunk with a hitchhiker-friendly truck driver.

For his debut film, Noh Young-Seok has directed, written, produced and composed the score himself. Despite the low budget, the result is a hilarious deadpan comedy in the footsteps of Jim Jarmuch.
