Godzilla swirled his tail around Hollywood in Roland Emmerich’s blockbuster, while the less known movie monsters were reduced to scratched posters and midnight screenings. One of them is Behemoth, a dinosaur, whose last days mostly consist of self-destruction.
Director Harry Chaskin combines feature material and stop motion in a multi-medial fashion, which makes for an interesting reflection on cinematic technologies.
Also shown at the iFestival screening.
