French director François Ozon’s new feature isbased on a book about – in his own description– what happens when you become very famousand choose to live in a fantasy world and notdeal with the real things around you. “Angel”tells the life story of the author Angelica “Angel”Deverell, a teenager when the film begins in1905 in a gloomy town in Edwardian England.After her teacher questions whether Angelhas written a story she hands in, Angel feignsillness and skips school.
