In a decayed city in future Poland, a youngwoman finds a mysterious box. On her kitchentable,the box opens and releases a black,abstract growth. Entirely without dialogue,stylized “Agnieszka 2039” is told using rapidfireediting, industrial sound effects andnumerous visual special effects. This musicvideo-like sci-fi short, sends its protagonist ona surreal journey with the world’s destiny inher hands. Combined with a pumping eurotechnosoundtrack, the imagery creates anominous mood and an intense, futuristic visualexperience.
