Film marathon weekend

Stockholm International Film Festival has created a schedule to maximize your film weekend. We invite you to take part of a cinematic experience out of the ordinary. You can also visit our screenings for the winning films.

Start your Saturday with a nice breakfast before you head over to Park at 10am for the screening of Helmut Newton: The Bad and the Beautiful about the photographer and the women who he captured with his camera. Have lunch in the area and make your way to Filmhuset for a showing of Milestone at 2.30pm where you can contemplate questions about life while on the road. Have an early dinner before heading to Zita to watch the european answer to Marriage Story - The Ties - at 6.30pm. Enjoy a nice drink while waiting and finish your day with Thou Shalt Not Hate at 9pm at Zita where moral decisions are the main focus.

On Sunday you start with a late breakfast and at 11.30pm you find yourself at Capitol for One Night in Miami that tells the story of a conversation between four legends. After lunch you make your way to Zita for a screening of romantic LGBTQ drama No Hard Feelings at 1.30pm. Walk over to Park at 4pm to watch physically and emotionally challenging One Of These Days with Joe Cole and Carrie Preston. Enjoy a warm drink while waiting for the 6.30pm screening of Assassins, also at Park, about the murder of Kim Jong-nam. Have your dinner in the area and finish your day at Zita at 9.30pm for heart racing Surge that has strong influences of the Sadie brothers Uncut Gems.
