Did you know that you no longer need a membership card? You can download our Stockholm Film Festival app free of charge (Android and iOS) and log in with your user information. There you'll be able to access your membership card and all your ticket purchases.
If you want to buy tickets over the counter, pick up your membership card or exchange tickets, please visit our festival center at Kulturhuset or one of our cinemas.

HOW DO I GET MY TICKET?
This year there are no printed tickets to be released! The tickets are stored on your physical membership card or in our app Stockholm Film Festival.
HOW DO I GET MY ONE-TIME TICKET?
This year there are no printed tickets to be released! For trial tickets, the confirmation that is automatically sent to your mail is valid as a ticket. This is the only thing you need to take with you to view the film. (Bring a printed copy or show your e-mail confirmation on the phone.)
WHY HAVEN’T I RECEIVED ANY CONFIRMATION?
Unfortunately, our automated confirmations often end up in the spam folder, so check there! You can also view the ticket in your purchase history on our website, and present it on your phone at the time of entry. Otherwise, we will send you a new booking confirmation.
I HAVE BOUGHT THE WRONG TICKET, WHAT DO I DO?
If you have purchased a membership ticket, it can be exchanged to another film ticket or moved over to another member. This can be done at our festival center at Kulturhuset or at one of our cinemas (adm. fee 10 SEK / ticket). For trial tickets, no returns are applicable. Returns do not apply for any ticket or membership cards.
THE APP DOES NOT WORK, WHAT DO I DO?
Try downloading the app again and re-logging in (new versions were released in conjunction with ticket release). Check out whether you can update the app on the App Store or Google Play. If it still does not work please contact our ticket staff on site.
what if I want to collect a membership card?
If you purchased the one-time ticket or more membership cards in one purchase, you can collect them at our festival center in Kulturhuset and the festival cinemas during the festival from 7th - 18th of November. If you buy membership tickets or membership cards on the web, they are stored automatically on your account and you can reach them through the app! You can download the Stockholm Film Festival app on App Store or Google Play. When you enter a screening we scan your tickets through your app, where you can see the membership card.
the app doesn't work, what do i do?
Try to restart the app and log in to your account again. You can also try to restart your phone and check if you need to update the app. If this does not help, please contact our staff at the cinemas. The staff will print the tickets for you so you don’t miss the screening! If you are unsure of your phone, please be on time.
WHAT IF MY PHONE HAS NO BATTERY?
Contact our ticket staff on site. They’ll ask for your contact information and help in finding your ticket so you will get in to the screening.
WHY CAN I ONLY BUY ONE MEMBERSHIP CARD?
You can only purchase a membership card per purchase because the membership cards contain your personal information. When you pay for your order, the membership card is automatically registered and activated on your profile.
Do you want to give away a membership card to a friend? Complete one for purchase and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 08 677 5014 and we will make sure that the membership card is in the correct profile. *BUT* If you buy a membership card for your friend, it's easiest to buy a membership card with your friends information so it will be correct from the beginning.
You can still buy tickets for you and your friends. When you arrive at the movie, the staff will scan the tickets from your membership card, so your friends just need show up their with membership card. You can also buy trial tickets for your friends and save on your the membership cost.
WILL THE FILMS BE SUBTITLES?
Movies that do not have English or Swedish dialogue will have subtitles. As a rule, films are subtitled in English, but exceptions may occur. Other information about subtitles is published on the website of the respective films.
WHY DON’T I RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER?
To receive the newsletter, you can enter your email address in the red box "Newsletter", which is available on our homepage www.stockholmfilmfestival.se. If you have registered on the website after August 2016, you will have automatically been added to our mailing list.

I HAVE DELETED MY LOG-IN, WHAT DO I DO?
Enter "login" and click reset password, enter your email address in the box and we will send a link to your e-mail. Click that link and then select a new password. (Check out the spamf older, sometimes it ends up in there).
DO I NEED A MEMBERSHIP OR A BRONZE CARD TO VIEW THE FILM?
Technically, it is possible to buy tickets on the website without membership cards, however you may asked to prove your membership at the time of entry for the film. The only case you would not need a membership to see a film is if you buy a trail ticket.
WHAT DO I DO IF MY PURCHASE DID NOT GO THROUGH?
Please try again. Also, make sure you have money in your account. If the purchase still doesn’t go through, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 08 677 50 14.
DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PURCHASE TICKETS?
Yes, but getting a login is quick, easy and has no cost. You just need to fill in your information in the form below the LOG IN button at the top of the webpage.
HOW DO THE TICKETS WORK?
At the bottom of the website, during the 2017 Festival, you can click on "program". There you can search and browse the program. When you find films you want to see, first select the number of tickets you want and then click “purchase” to add them to the cart. You can then continue browsing the program and selecting tickets for all the films you want to attend. In the shopping cart you’ll find the "Checkout" button. Click there to pay.
I CLICK “BUY”, BUT HOW DO I PAY?
Click on the shopping cart and then click on the checkout button. You will then be able to complete your purchase.
WHAT IS A CCV-CODE / CVC-CODE?
These are the last three digits on the back of your card.
How does it work with the digital tickets on the membership card?
When you buy tickets on our website they are automatically registered on your membership card. The staff at the entrance will only need to scan your membership in the app and you are in!
I have bought tickets and have put them digitally on my membership card but have changed my mind. Can I get them printed instead?
You can go to a cinema and ask the staff there to print the tickets for you. If you have printed the tickets out though, you can not put them on the card again.
Member questions, questions about the membership card and tickets
DO I HAVE TO BE A MEMBER TO attend THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, you have to be a member. There is much more to being a member than the autumn festival between 9th-20nd of November. Stockholm's film festival offers members screenings year round and additionally include over 10 previews per year (first come first served). You can also visit the dayscreenings for Stockholm filmfestival Junior in april without cost. This makes the membership card worth roughly 1300 Swedish crowns.
CAN I attend THE FESTIVAL if i am younger than 15 years and not bring a GUARDIAN?
Unfortunately not. You have to be 15 years old to be a member and to go to the festival. BUT when you are 15 years old, you can go for free. Show identification in any of our ticket offices so you can get 15 year card right on the spot.
HOW LONG is MY membership VALID?
The card for 2017 expires the 1st of August 2018.
What is a bronze card?
The bronze card gives you access to the festival and two ticket vouchers (worth up to 100 crowns per ticket). You can then get two guaranteed spots at our member screenings and those are more than 10 per year. You get the festival catalog and invitations to events during the autumn festival. You will be thanked for your support in the festival catalog. The festival only accepts a maximum of 150 bronze card members per year. The bronze card has a worth of over 2500 SEK and costs 1500 SEK.
How much does a ticket cost?
The tickets to the festival cost a regular fee of 100 SEK. Day tickets, before 5pm, cost 40 SEK. The tickets to the red carpet-viewings cost 140 SEK.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENce BETWEEN a MEMBERSHIP CARD AND a TRIAL TICKET?
Both are variants of membership to the Stockholm film festival, which is a requirement to attend the movies during the festival. If you buy a membership card, you are a member of Stockholm's film festival until the 1st of August 2016. In addition, you get access to the festival from the 9th - 20nd of November and you will even get the possibility to book tickets to over 10 member screenings per year. Also, you can book tickets without costs to the day viewings during the Stockholm Junior film festival in April.
Trial tickets give only membership access to a specific film and the above is not included.
What do I do if I have lost my card?
If you lost your card, you should report it to the police. Send a copy on the report to us, then we will replace the lost card with an administration fee of 100 Swedish crowns.
DO I GET THE FESTIVAL CATALOG AS A MEMBER?
If you have the membership card you will get the catalog without any costs and it is available to be picked up at all cinemas at the beginning of the festival on the 9th of November. The number is limited and will be first come first serve.
HOW DOES THE MEMBERSHIP SCREENINGS WORK?
More than 10 times a year, we preview movies for our members only. Information about previews are sent out approximately one week before the viewing will take place, in form of a digital newsletter and the information is also available to find on the website and on our Facebook page. You have to sign up to get the newsletter in the red box on the main page. The viewings will be first come first serve. If you are a bronze member, you have two guaranteed spots at every viewing and receive an email with an invitations before every membership viewing.
CAN i BUY A MEMBERSHIP CARD TO the REDUCED PRICE IF i TURN 26 DURING THE FESTIVAL?
You can buy the membership card at a reduced price until the day you turn 26. It is how old you are when you buy the card that applies. It costs 160 SEK.
I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND AND WANT TO SEE ANOTHER MOVIE. WHAT DO I DO?
Go to one of our outlets and trade your ticket to a new one to the movie you want to see. To trade the ticket costs 10 Swedish crowns and you can only exchange tickets; not exchange the tickets for money. The festival won’t pay the differences. You can change tickets at the latest 2 hours before the movie begins.
