A man nicknamed “Dog” has disappeared. His girlfriend, the radio DJ Vicky, is looking for him. She comes across a website he has been frequenting, missing.com and finds other people discussing the nature of things vanishing. One such person is “Cola”—a young artist who draws things that have disappeared. He is interested in “Money”, a drummer who is dating an angry young man who goes by the name, “Assassin”. Vicky discovers a few clues that Dog left behind: some photos and an old floppy disc that cannot be read by modern computers.

The film, with its stunning visual effects, allows viewers to see the present, the past, and the future state of reality all at the same time. The transient nature of life is very much a central theme in »Honey PuPu«. It deals with everything from bees starting to disappear from the world to buildings being torn down without leaving a trace of their former existence. The characters go by their online names, showing that even identity is transient in nature.
