Dennis Hopper recieved the Stockholm Lifetime Achievemant Award in 1991 and visited the 2:nd Stockholm International Film Festival. Many remember his visit to Stockholm, where an engaged Dennis Hopper watched his films together with the audience, presented every screening in his retrospective and the legendary Hopper Night. When the final credits rolled he exclaimed that he would buy everyone in the theater breakfast. Which he did in true Hopper Style.
Dennis Hopper has during his career made several classic roles like Billy in Easy Rider, Frank Booth in Blue Velvet, Tom Ripley in The American Friend and Clifford Worley in True Romance. But those are only the beginning of a list that stretches almost sixty years back in time.
