As deputy sheriff in Central City, Texas, Lou Ford is instructed to talk to a prostitute named Joyce with the purpose of making her leave town. Easier said than done; the two of them fall madly in love and decide to blackmail one of her clients. The plan abruptly crashes when Ford unleashes the killer from within: a fusion of Patrick Bateman and Anton Chigurh from No Country for Old Men. The film is cowboy noir at its nastiest, or sunset spanking gone haywire. Put it anyway you like, but this is the film that will engrave Jessica Alba's bloody, swollen face in your mind forever. Based on Jim Thompson's novel from 1952, The Killer Inside Me is a grim experience that will force you to confront evil in its most sinister and beautiful ways.
