Stockholm Film Festival

When and where?

During the 18th-29th of November you will find us at seven of Stockholm's cinemas and we'll screen 180 films from the whole world. Some of these movies will not be screened in Swedish cinemas after the festival, and some have their premier a few months after, but all of them will have their Swedish premier at the festival.

How do I become a member?

To see the films at the festival you need to be a member. You become a member by buying one of our membership cards or bronze cards. With the cards you'll get access not just to the festival in November, but also to free screenings the rest of the year.

Apart from a membership card you will also need a ticket to the films you would like to see. The tickets are sold at 70SEK (or 50SEK before 4pm on weekdays) and can be bought here at our website or at our festival center at Kulturhuset. You can find us at entry level next to KulturDirekt, our opening hours are 11am-7pm on weekdays and 11am-17pm on weekends. During the festival you can also buy your tickets at the cinemas.

How do the mobile phone tickets work?

If you buy your tickets online you can choose between picking up your tickets at Kulturhuset (or at any of our cinemas during the festival), or receiving them on your mobile phone. To access your mobile phone ticket you must be able to access the internet through your phone and you will be charged an additional cost of 2SEK per ticket.

What festivals are shown at the festival?

You can find this year's program film here. The program is divided into sections, the sections will help to find films based on interest or genre.

You can pick up a copy of this year's catalog at Skandia starting at the 13th of November 16:30. Price according to your membership:
Membership card(220 SEK): the catalog is free if you present your membership card
Reduced price membership card (160 SEK): 80 SEK
Non-member: 120 SEK
The catalog is also available for purchase at Papercut (krukmakargatan 12). The number of cataloges is limited so get it while you can!
