Accompanied by friends equally fond of drinking and smoking, queen-of-the-party Ona heads off to the countryside for a weekend-long drinking spree. One evening she falls asleep in the grass. When she wakes up, everything has changed.
In a world where dreams and reality merge, director Dalibor Matanic uses circular narration and expressive in-your-face cinematography to illustrate the effects of war on its survivors.
THE PARTY is the second in a series of six short films about a single day seen through the eyes of six different women.
