Little Things takes us for a ride in the fast lane through childhood happiness, as two sisters discover the joy of decorating a wall with finger paint. It reminds us how it felt to revel in the simple pleasures of early youth, like jumping in puddles in the rain.

Karolina Pajak continuously works without dialogue in this colorful depiction of delight. Instead of talking, a melancholic accordion-and-piano soundtrack fills the film. But equally important to the tone of the instruments are the sounds of a goldfish in its bowl, or a child’s fingers in a jar of paint.
